Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign Release New Album "Vultures 2"
Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have teamed up once again to release their highly anticipated album, "Vultures 2." Following February's "Vultures 1," this second installment features an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Young Thug, 070 Shake, Future, Playboi Carti, Kodak Black, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, and even West's children, North and Chicago.
The duo had been hinting at "Vultures 2" even before the first album dropped. Initially, West mentioned that the second and third installments would be released on March 8 and April 5, respectively, though there's been no recent news about the third volume. Despite Westβs intentions to release the albums independently, "Vultures 2" is available on major streaming platforms, just like its predecessor.
Westβs independent approach, as he discussed in an interview with Hypebeast, reflects his pursuit of authenticity, though it also aligns with the current circumstances following his controversial actions and subsequent loss of major partnerships, including Adidas and Creative Arts Agency. West apologized to the Jewish community late last year, expressing regret and a commitment to learning from his mistakes.
Despite mixed critical reception, "Vultures 1" was a commercial success, debuting at the top of the Billboard 200 and featuring a No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. West and Ty Dolla $ign held several listening events and headlined Rolling Loud California to promote the album.
Ty Dolla $ignβs last solo studio album was 2020βs "Featuring Ty Dolla $ign." His collaborative history with West includes notable tracks like βFourFiveSeconds,β βReal Friends,β βFade,β βEgo Death,β βFreeee (Ghost Town, Pt. 2),β and βEverything We Need.β
"Vultures 2" is now available for streaming.
